The original Maharani Indian Cuisine was opened in Queens, New York in 1977,
and has received local and national recognition as one of the best Indian
restaurants in the country by the media as well as our guests. In 2000, our
restaurant was featured in the Star Ledger's annual Restaurant Issue as one of
America's top ethnic restaurants. Closer to home, Maharani has been the
reigning best Indian restaurant in Northern New Jersey for the past twenty
years, according to the Bergen Record, the Jewish Standard and the Zagat
Survey.

Chef, Anthony Gomez will surprise and delight your taste sensations. Not only
is the dining room a feast for your eyes, but the hand crafted delicacies
expertly served by the wait staff are an explosion on your palette. While many

accentuate the meal, we decided to excite all your senses. Our décor is as
